Tom Darlington
Head of Planning, Goodstuff
Tom began his career at OMD UK in the press buying department, working across a broad spectrum of clients including HMV, Thompson Reuters and Channel 4. A move to the planning department followed where Tom continued to work with Channel 4. During the next 4 years he would help launch shows such as Skins, a live cook-a-long with Gordon Ramsay and The Inbetweeners amongst others. Whilst launching TV shows, with often award winning campaigns, was the bread and butter of Tom’s role, he also worked on a range other clients including Peugeot, Bauer Publishing and completed projects for companies like Pepsico and Coty.
In 2012, Tom left OMD UK to join his client, taking on the role of Marketing Manager for 4oD and Digital at Channel 4. In this position he oversaw numerous product launches and updates for the broadcasters VOD service and website, developing work with in house agency 4creative. Other significant projects included ground breaking partnerships with The Guardian and their iPad edition and marketing for the anniversary of the Paralympic games.
After 18 very happy months in Victoria, Tom came back agency side, joining Goodstuff to oversee planning on a number of the agencies clients.
