MOJO Magazine Creates Limited Edition Animated Pink Floyd Cover

Bauer Media’s MOJO Magazine has created an ‘animated‘ lenticular cover in celebration of 40 years of Pink Floyd’s Animals album.

The limited edition collector’s issue shows the band’s iconic pig ‘Algie’ flying across the cover.

5000 copies of the special edition are only available through the website: www.mojo4music.com.

Editor-in-chief, Phil Alexander commented: “This is the first time we’ve ever produced a lenticular cover on MOJO. The reason for doing it was simple enough: we actually just wanted the pig to fly. And it does! There are only 5000 copies of this lenticular cover, so it’s a genuine collectors’ item.

He added: “Hopefully, the cover story will serve as a reminder that Animals is an album that continues to resonate. Its over-arching message seems as relevant now as it did when it was released four decades ago. Equally, MOJO’s exclusive preview of Their Mortal Remains, Floyd’s forthcoming exhibition at the V&A, is testament to the band’s ongoing impact and influence.”

MOJO’s regular edition, featuring a free CD featuring Hawkwind, Foxygen, Public Service Broadcasting, Gong, The Phoenix Foundation, Dungen, Jane Weaver is in stores from Tuesday, March 21.
