Julia Barrass Promoted to Commercial Trading Director
Time Inc. UK has promoted Julia Barrass to the role of commercial trading director in a move that completes a reshaping of the advertising leadership team across the business.
Reporting to Sam Finlay, chief revenue officer, Julia will act as the strategic lead on all key client and agency trading relationships for Time Inc. UK. Following the acquisition of Collective last July, Julia will work alongside Collective’s digital commercial director, Simon Stone, on all key digital trading relationships.
Julia says: “I’ve been incredibly lucky to have worked with some of the industry’s most influential people who have had a huge impact on me over the years. The ongoing evolution of our media landscape has opened up a wealth of new and exciting opportunities for both Time Inc. UK and our brands. Anyone who knows me will tell you I’m not one to shy away from a challenge, so I’m delighted to take on this role.”
Sam Finlay, chief revenue officer, adds: “Julia has been a huge asset to the organisation over the years and I am delighted to see her take on this new, well deserved role. With her unrivalled knowledge, expansive industry network and, of course, her no-nonsense approach, our trading relationships couldn’t be in better hands. Our goal remains to bring our clients the most innovative premium-brand solutions offering available in the UK, supplemented with best-in-class service. I’m incredibly excited that our new management team and enhanced digital offering with Collective moves us much closer to achieving that goal.”
Julia joined Time Inc.UK in 1999 following successful stints at the Guardian, Hearst and Bauer.
