Immediate appoints Duncan Tickell as CRO
Immediate Media Co has announced the appointment of Duncan Tickell to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).
Tickell will lead Immediate’s commercial teams, as well as Imagine, Immediate’s creative and content studio. In addition to growing Immediate’s advertising business, Tickell will be responsible for revenue diversification strategy, driving revenue growth from multiple sources, across all platforms, with a particular focus on digital.
Tickell’s appointment marks the next chapter for Immediate, with the business focused on further transformational growth, following a resilient performance through the Covid crisis for its special interest brands.

He will particularly focus on accelerating our digital revenues as we capitalise on the huge growth in reach and engagement we have experienced this year.”

As part of Immediate’s Leadership Team from launch in 2011, Tickell held a number of commercial roles at the company until his departure in December 2018, when he established consultancy firm, Alchemist Media, working with media firms to transform their businesses, through digital growth, diversification and developing new revenues. Prior to Immediate, Duncan held board roles at VNU Business Publications and Dennis Publishing.
