Buoyant children’s magazine market sees two new magazine launches
The burgeoning children’s magazine market has seen two new launches hit the newsstand this month.
Immediate Media Co has launched BBC Andy’s Amazing Adventures magazine, which is on sale now, and DC Thomson is launching Twirlywoos magazine, based on the hit CBeebies show.
The children’s magazine sector has performed strongly on the back of new launches such as Disney-led brands like Frozen and Star Wars and Immediate’s Lego series.
It posted a strong set of results in the latest ABC release, with circulation increasing almost 18% year-on-year and sales rising by over 18% during the same period.
Both titles are aimed at pre-school children and are on sale at all good supermarkets and newsagents.
