Betsy Fast appointed Executive Director of Digital Editorial Strategy of Hearst Magazines UK

In this newly created role, Fast will cultivate editorial excellence and drive digital audience growth across 13 of Hearst Magazines UK’s websites, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Digital Spy and Esquire. 

Previously, Fast served as Partnerships Director for Hearst Digital Media in the U.S., where she led Hearst’s ongoing partnership with A+E Networks. Prior to that, Fast spent four years as site director of Seventeen.com. Under her leadership, Seventeen’s site traffic grew to over four million unique monthly visitors and climbed to the number one spot in ComScore’s teen category. She has also held senior editorial roles at InStyle.com and DoSomething.org, one of the largest organisations supporting teens and social change in America.

Fast will begin her new role on 3rd April, overseeing Cosmopolitan, Country Living, Digital Spy, ELLE, ELLE Decoration, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper’s Bazaar, House Beautiful, NetDoctor, Prima, Red, Town & Country
