Bauer Media appoints Lisa Sinclair to Group Editor role
Bauer UK Publishing has named Lisa Sinclair as its new Group Editor for its Celebrity portfolio.
Sinclair will oversee all editorial output for Celebrity titles, which includes Closer, heat & Crime Monthly and brings a wealth of print and digital experience after more than 20 years working across a variety of titles in the UK & Australia. Most recently, she was a Director at Singill Enterprises which supplied a host of content for titles such as Australian Women’s Weekly, Woman’s Day and the Sydney Morning Herald.
During her time in Australia, Sinclair also edited several Bauer-owned magazines including Yours and Woman’s Day before Bauer’s Australian operations were sold to Mercury Capital in 2015.
Bauer’s Celebrity offering is made-up of specialist real crime title Crime Monthly and popular weeklies Closer and heat, which both enjoyed strong growth in digital circulation in this year’s ABC figures.
Helen Morris, Group Managing Director – Lifestyle, Bauer Publishing UK said: “We’re delighted to welcome Lisa to the team. She brings excellent experience in leading teams to produce and deliver content to audiences across both digital and print. I’m really looking forward to working with her.”
