Hosted by GamesRadar+ Brand Director Sam Loveridge, the new fortnightly series combines candid conversations, industry-leading guests, and original research exploring the experiences of women in gaming.
Premiering July 17, the fortnightly series is hosted by Sam Loveridge, Brand Director of GamesRadar+, and features candid conversations with developers, creators, journalists, and industry leaders exploring gaming, culture and the evolving identity of modern gamers.
“For too long, a massive portion of the community has been made to feel like outsiders in their own hobby,” says Loveridge. “G+RLS is about tearing down that gatekeeping, breaking the stigma, and shifting perspectives on who gaming is actually for.”
Confirmed guests for the debut season include Louise Blain, Creative Director at Blumhouse Games, and Amy Mallett, host of Future Games Show Live, with additional guests from across the gaming industry to be announced in the coming weeks.
Alongside candid conversations and exclusive interviews, G+RLS will also feature original GamesRadar+ audience research exploring the experiences, habits and perspectives of women in gaming. Findings will be released throughout the season, providing fresh insight into one of gaming’s fastest-growing and most influential audiences.
The launch comes as broader industry research continues to highlight the disconnect between who plays games and who feels represented within gaming culture. A recent Cardiff University study found that while women account for roughly half of all gamers, many still hesitate to identify as “gamers,” underscoring the continued importance of fostering more inclusive conversations across the industry.
G+RLS premieres July 17, 2026, with new episodes released fortnightly on YouTube and GamesRadar+.
