Magnetic is the marketing agency for consumer magazines in the UK. We exist to help advertisers get the very best return from the rich engagement opportunities offered by multi-channel magazine brands.
Our goal is to better understand and promote the changing role our stakeholder brands play in consumers' lives, and how this shapes delivery of effective marketing solutions for advertisers - investing in insight, events and creative collaborations.
What we're looking for
We need someone to help support us with the smart and successful delivery of all of our activity, and we are looking for a candidate who can make us more effective, efficient and enduring.
Supporting the CEO, this key role will assist a small and dynamic team of insight, marketing and communications professionals committed to defining the compelling role magazine media plays in today’s modern marketing communications plan.
Acting as gatekeeper to the CEO, you will manage incoming correspondence, coordinate her diary, liaise with Board members, and help to forward plan and manage activity. You will be responsible for the coordination and organisation of meetings and travel on behalf of the CEO, as well as meeting bookings and administration for the whole team. You will also have oversight and management of team sickness and holiday.
Managing finance administration, you will be responsible for receiving and passing invoices for CEO approval, and for ensuring the monthly management accounts are kept up-to-date by the rest of the team.
This role will also encompass events and communications administration, including assisting with the CRM database system, building and proofreading draft email newsletters via the email marketing system, and entering and editing content on the website via the CMS.
This person will need to be a great team player, a self-starter, and brilliant problem solver. Able to deal with multiple stakeholders and actions at the same time in a busy environment, this individual will be confident working in a small, high-energy team with a collective can-do attitude.

Note: the post will require meetings outside normal working hours.
Salary dependent on experience
